UDI Label Preflight

1. Summary

UDI Label Preflight is an offline, local-only data-preflight utility. It does not require account registration, does not use a publisher-operated server, and does not transmit inspection data to Yunfan Labs in the current release.

2. Information processed on device

The current version does not collect or transmit personal information, label content, or usage analytics to Yunfan Labs. The following user-provided or camera-captured data is processed only on the device:

• inspection records
• label photos
• raw barcode data
• user-provided approved values
• generated PDF reports
• user notes
• app preferences

3. Camera access

The app may request Camera access to scan a GS1 DataMatrix and capture a reference photo of the label proof. It does not request Photo Library access in the current release. Captured images remain in the app's local storage unless the user explicitly exports a report through the iOS share sheet.

4. How data is used

Local data is used only to parse barcode data, compare decoded values with user-provided approved values, display issues, preserve inspection history, and generate PDF reports.

When a user chooses to share or export a PDF, iOS passes the selected report to the destination chosen by the user, such as Files, Mail, Print, or another installed app. Subsequent handling is governed by that destination and the user's action, not by an automatic transfer to Yunfan Labs.

5. Data storage and retention

Inspection metadata, captured photos, raw barcode data, approved values, notes, and generated reports are stored in the app's local container. Users can delete individual inspections in the app. Deleting an inspection also removes its associated local photo and generated report. Removing the app through iOS removes its app container, subject to normal iOS backup and device-management behavior.

6. Third-party services

The current release contains no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, third-party tracking SDK, or cloud-processing service. It uses Apple system frameworks for camera access, barcode decoding, local UI, PDF generation, and sharing.

If a future release adds third-party services that materially affect privacy practices, this Privacy Policy must be updated.

7. Children

The app is not intended to collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices

Users may deny optional permissions. Related features may then be limited while the rest of the app remains available where supported.

Users may delete individual inspections in the app or remove all app data by deleting the app from the device. Reports already exported to Files, Mail, another app, a printer, or another user are outside the app's local deletion control.

9. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be made available on this public policy page.
